Hey there, I’m Michelle
I’m a lifelong yoga student and career yoga teacher in the Denver area. Over the years yoga has allowed me the space to find myself. I’ve completed over 800 hours of training in various styles of yoga, fitness, meditation and breath work and have taught over 2,000 hours.
I love working with new yoga teachers as a 200hr YTT facilitator, yoga teacher mentor, and local/international retreat host. My teaching style invites a playful yet powerful approach to exploring the mind-body connection with space for creativity and self expression. I guide with intention, intuition and pour my heart & soul into everything I do. My purpose in this work is to remind others of their own limitless potential.
How my journey started …
In my early 20s, I felt lost and disconnected from myself. I didn’t exactly find yoga—yoga found me. It became my path to self-love and acceptance. Thirteen years later, I’m still walking that path, and it continues to feel new and exciting every day.
It began clumsily, just learning how to be in my body through shapes and movement. But soon, it turned into something far more transformative than I could have imagined. Yoga helped me see myself clearly—and slowly begin to peel away the layers that had built up over the years, hiding my true, vibrant, and unique self.
Over time, I realized that less than 1% of yoga is about the poses. The real practice is about remembering who we really are.
About six years into my journey, I felt the pull to go deeper and enrolled in my first yoga teacher training. I started teaching right away—not because I felt ready or thought I was any good—but because it was hard and vulnerable. And despite my ego’s resistance, I couldn’t stop putting myself out there.
Eventually, I left my full-time job and devoted myself fully to this work. It’s not always easy, and I’m far from perfect, but I can’t imagine doing anything else with this extraordinary life than serving others through a practice that continues to transform me every single day.
